QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS

Unless otherwise specified herein
4.1 Contractor's responsibility.
the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection require-
ments prior to submission for Government inspection and acceptance.
Except
as otherwise specified, the supplier may utilize his own facilities or any
commercial laboratory acceptable to the Government.
Inspection records of
the examinations and tests shall be kept complete and available to the
Government as specified in the contract or order.
Sampling for examination shall be conducted in accordance

Lot size for examination shall be the individual booster
test stand.
4.4 Examination.
The sample stands shall be carefully inspected and
measured to determine conformance with the requirements of this specifica-
tion and the applicable drawings.
4.5 Packaging.
The inspector shall ascertain that the packaging
method used will comply with the general requirements of this specification.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY

5.1 Preservation and Packaging. The stands shall be packed for domes-
tic shipment in such manner as to insure acceptance by common carrier for
safe transportation at the lowest rate to the point of delivery.
Adequate
protection from physical damage must be provided, including protection
against damage by weather,
If the equipment is to be shipped overseas
the requirements for overseas shipment shall be applicable.
