Level A
Exterior Containers.
5.2.1.1
The Booster Test Stand packaged as
described in 5.1 snail be packed in a wood box conforming to Specification
PPP-B-621, Class 2, Style 2 or Style 4.
Sufficient blocking and bracing
s all be provided to prevent damage to the equipment during shipment and
multiple handling.
5.2.2
Level B. - Not applicable
5.2.3
Level C.
The Booster Test Stand packaged in accordance with
5.1 shall be packed to afford protection against damage during direct shipment
from the supply source to the first receiving activity for immediate
USe.
Containers shall comply with the carrier rules and regulations applicable to
the mode of transportation.
5.3
Marking
Special Markings, - None
5.3.1
Normal Markings.
5.3.2
In addition to the markings required by
contract or order, unit packages, intermediate packages (when used), and
shipping containers shall be marked in accordance with the requirements
of MIL-STD-129, including serial numbers.

Intended use.
The booster test stands procured under this
specification are intended for usc in testing the TERRIER missile booster
The stands will accept the BT-3 in either handling bands or slings
BT-3.
and may be used to position the handling bands.
The stands can be rolled
about to move the component to the desired position.
