3.7.1.5
C o n t r o l s - The test set shall have the following controls:
3.7.1.5.1 Power On/Off - A single toggle switch shall be provided to turn
al I power to the Indicator Monitor test set on and off.
3.7.1.5.2 Monitor Mode - A seven position rotary switch shall be provided
to select the following modes of operation:

R-MSG - The reply message (R-MSG) mode is the primary
mode of operation of the test set. In this mode, the indicator
Monitor is operating on the RCVR Data input from an SM511A/
ASW. The test set will disply RO, R1, R3A, R3B and R3C
reply messages on numeric and discrete readouts as defined
in Table 3.7.1.10.2. With appropriate selections of Label
Select switches and Reply Sub Label Select switches in this
mode, 42 data bits of any reply message may also be displayed
on the 42 bit binary readout.
